Who we are

ClipSignal is owned and operated by auraclipper, based in Nairobi, Kenya ("auraclipper", "we", "us"). "ClipSignal" is the name of the product. When you use ClipSignal or buy ClipSignal Pro, your contract is with auraclipper. By continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. You must be of legal age, or have authority to bind the organisation you use it for.

The service

ClipSignal is video-editing software that finds highlight clips in your videos, adds captions, meme sounds and pictures, sound effects and your own recorded voiceover, and exports short vertical videos. ClipSignal Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks sound effects and own-voice recording.

Your account

Keep your login details confidential and accurate. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, including:

• using it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or for spam;
• uploading or processing content that infringes anyone's copyright or other rights;
• creating deepfakes, impersonations, hateful, harassing or sexual content involving minors;
• distributing malware, probing, scraping, attacking or trying to bypass our security or limits;
• reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the service.

Your content and outputs

You keep the rights you have in videos you provide. You must have the rights to any content you upload or link. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for your inputs and for how you use outputs. Automated outputs (scores, captions, title suggestions) may be inaccurate; check them before relying on them. They are not professional advice.

Rights holders can report infringing content by contacting us through the site; we will remove it, and repeated infringement leads to account termination. We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts to enforce these terms.

Ownership

auraclipper owns ClipSignal, its software, documentation and branding. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it within your plan.

Payments and subscriptions

ClipSignal is currently a free beta. No payments are taken and no card is required. If paid plans are introduced later, prices and billing terms will be shown before any purchase.

Service level and liability

We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. It is provided "as is", without implied warranties, to the extent the law allows. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, data or goodwill). Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law forbids it.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, saved data may be deleted.

Other

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content or unlawful use. Neither side is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. You may not transfer these terms without consent; we may transfer them in a merger or acquisition. We may update these terms and will post changes here.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and disputes are subject to the courts of Nairobi, Kenya, unless your local consumer law gives you other rights.
