auraclipper is the data controller for personal data processed through ClipSignal. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

Data we collect and why

• Account data (email, login credentials, Google sign-in profile) — to create and secure your account (contract).
• Subscription status (plan, renewal dates) — to provide Pro features (contract).
• Content you submit (video links, transcripts, audio, voice recordings, prompts) — to analyse videos and generate clips, captions and narration (contract).
• Usage and device data (IP address, browser, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the service (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (legitimate interests).

Saved clips, memes and thumbnails are stored in your own browser.

Who we share it with

• Service providers: hosting, database, authentication and AI processing providers.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting).
• Authorities where required by law.

International transfers

Providers may process data outside your country. Where required we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active and as needed for legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. We respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.

Cookies

We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in and save your preferences and library. We don't use advertising cookies.
